They say the journey is half the fun. We had a great adventure just getting to Spot X and the day was a great success. High gusty winds, and very cold ones at that, meant that not all paraglider pilots launched but for a winters day it was great to sit in the sun and watch those that did launch enjoy the wide very blue yonder.

I like this vid, its a ... good take off in an Arianne 'Swift' but any thing that gets you in the air is OK with me as long as the landing is safe.
